Following your own path, is anyone?

Following your own path, is anyone?

Some maybe but not many do, most think they are but if they took a step back and really looked at themselves (something which many wont do as they like to think they are happy and know best, so they can't learn as they already know it all, denial) they would find out they are just following the traffic like everyone else and not going their own path. There is a lot of posts on follow your own path, walk your own way but the people that post these in most cases are not doing what they post, they just simply think they are.

Its not easy for some to do this, as they don't notice for the best part, some think its to hard, isn't enough time, lots of excuses why but its only themselves that is stopping it.  For some its easier to just think they are being themselves and following their own path, less hassle as they see it, but in reality there is no hassle, no stress, no worry.  Some don't as others can't understand how you do it, eg: they think its strange, you are arrogant, lack feeling (which couldn't be further from the truth), so to stay dreaming seems to be easier but its not.

So how is harder to stay dreaming, well you are going with the traffic, you do not want to upset that, you want people to like you, you create your own stress, hassles, worry (you create that the other person cannot make you feel that way only you can make yourself feel that way), you want others to think you are a nice person and so on and so on, you are living their life not your own life, it matters not if someone likes you, if they think you are a nice person, no of that effects your own being unless you allow it to do so.  Simple example you want to go on a picnic but its raining, you get upset cause you can't go, is the rain upset? no, did the rain upset you? no, you made yourself feel upset.

Take a step back, look within yourself, not outside, you can also keep denying and thinking to yourself you are walking your own path and dreaming , thinking you are happy.
